It’s now or never for both Ole Miss and Troy, with the season on the line for both programs, which team will make most of the opportunity.
Egan has been a reliable pitcher for the Trojans this season, posting a 6-5 record on the season, and 99 strikeouts to go along with a 5.38 ERA.
Prior to the season, Egan was named to the National Pitcher of the Year Watch List, and will face against veteran Ole Miss pitcher Hunter Elliott.
Although Egan and Elliott did not get the start on day one, both pitchers are capable of producing quality games, as both offenses will have their work cut out for them.
