Ole Miss women’s tennis head coach Grant Roberts and his staff continue to reload for the 2026-27 campaign, signing Alice Battesti on Wednesday.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Alice to Oxford,” coach Roberts said. “She is an outstanding player and is an exceptional person whose character and work ethic align perfectly with our culture. We are confident she will make a positive impact from day one.”
The Ajaccio, France, native will transfer in after playing two seasons at Auburn. This past season, Vedovelli compiled a 15-4 overall singles record, while splitting time between playing courts four, five, and six. Nine of her q5 wins came from singles dual matches.
Battesti joins Léna Thomas Iglesias as the second addition for the Rebels out of the transfer portal, along with returners Riley Crowder, Ichino Horikawa, Andrea Nova, Alice Soulié, and Owen Wilkinson. Ole Miss currently has seven student-athletes on its 2026-27 roster.
