CARLSBAD, Calif. – Ole Miss men’s golfer Cameron Tankersley wrapped up play in Carlsbad, California, with a fourth round score of 78 (+6) on Monday, finishing tied for 42nd individually at the 2026 NCAA Championship at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa.
Tankersley ended stroke play with a four-day score of 290 (+2). The senior finishes his Ole Miss career with 19 top 10 finishes, the fourth-most by any Rebel in program history.
The Dickson, Tennessee, started his final round on Monday with two straight pars before a bogey on No. 12, followed by a double-bogey on No. 13. Tankersley rebounded with five consecutive pars to head into the turn at 3-over. He would birdie No. 2, but ultimately shot 3-over on the back-nine as well to finish out the day with a 78.
Tankersley finished the tournament with 15 birdies and 42 pars. He was seventh in the field in par-5 scoring (4.56/-7).
Ole Miss finished with a share of 26th at the 2026 NCAA Championships after missing the team cut on Sunday. The Rebels won three team titles in 2025-26, including the SEC Championship, and tallied 11 top 5 finishes.
