Ole Miss men’s tennis head coach Jake Jacoby and his staff continue to reload for the 2026-27 campaign, signing Moritz Kudernatsch on Wednesday afternoon.
“Moritz is excited to come to Oxford, and we are even more excited to have him here,” Jacoby said. “He has steadily improved as a tennis player during his time in college, and he’s also a great person and teammate. He is going to help us right away with his experience playing in big matches and as a leader and teammate. Can’t wait to get started with him!”
The Munich, Germany, native will be transferring in after playing three seasons for upstate rival, Memphis. In his time as a Tiger, he split time playing on courts one and two for singles and was able to acquire a career-high No. 101 ITA singles ranking this past Spring. He also managed to gain a career-high No. 58 ITA doubles ranking this past Spring.
Kudernatsch currently holds a 13.12 UTR and joins Igor Kudriashov as the second addition for the Rebels out of the transfer portal, along with returners Stefano D’Agostino, Pietro Pampanin, Vlado Jankanj, and Kai Milburn. Ole Miss currently has six student-athletes on its 2026-27 roster.
