Men’s tennis signs Russian star

Igor Kudriashov

Ole Miss men’s tennis head coach Jake Jacoby adds first signee for the 2026-27 season, as he announces the addition of Igor Kudriashov on Tuesday afternoon.

“Igor is absolutely one of the top newcomers to college tennis this coming season,” Jacoby said. “He already has seven total professional ITF titles and is an incredibly mature young man. He’s made the most of his situation as a full-time student in Moscow, fulfilling his required military service, and still playing at a top 600 ATP level over the past few years. He is super happy to take advantage of this opportunity here in Oxford, and he’s a wonderful person, too. He will have a big impact on our lineup and our culture!”

Kudriashov will be traveling more than five thousand miles to be in Oxford, Mississippi, this coming season, for he is coming from Ufa, Russia. There, he attended the Russian University of Sport in Moscow, Russia.

His resume includes an impressive 13.73 UTR currently, along with six combined ITF 15K singles and doubles titles in 2024 and 2025. Kudriashov’s career high ATP singles ranking was 625 in November 2025; he also held a career high ATP doubles ranking of 575 in November 2024.

Kudriashov is Jacoby’s first signing out of the transfer portal for the 2026-27 roster, with more to come.
