Ole Miss men’s head golf coach Chris Malloy took the stage at a Monday press conference prior to the Rebels departure for the NCAA Tournament. For the ninth consecutive season and 18th time in program history, the Ole Miss men’s golf team is headed to an NCAA Regional.
The No. 10 Rebels have earned the No. 2 seed in the Bermuda Run Regional, as announced by the NCAA and Golf Channel on Wednesday. The regional will be played at Bermuda Run Country Club, May 18-20.
It marks the third straight season in which the Rebels have earned a No. 2 seed or better in the tournament.

Ole Miss advances to a regional for the 10th time in 12 seasons under Chris Malloy’s guidance. Malloy has led his alma mater to national prominence with nine straight NCAA Regional appearances – the longest streak in program history.
The 2025-26 resume includes nine top five finishes and three team titles. The Rebels claimed the second SEC Championship in program history and first since 1984. Five players have at least one top-10 finish with four tallying at least one top five.
The senior trio of Tom Fischer, Cameron Tankersley and Cohen Trolio have guided the Rebels back to the national stage once again. All three rank inside the top 55 of the World Amateur Golf Rankings and the top 20 of PGA TOUR U.
After 54 holes, the top five teams, as well as the top individual from a non-advancing team, will advance to the NCAA Championship at the Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, California, May 29 – June 3. The NCAA Championship will ultimately feature 30 teams and six individuals from non-qualifying teams.
