Ole Miss extended an offer to five-star 2027 cornerback Joshua Dobson on Tuesday. The 6-1, 175-pounder out of Catawba Ridge High School in Fort Mill, S.C., is ranked as America’s No. 2 cornerback and the No. 1 player from South Carolina by the industry average in the 2027 class.
Dobson is ranked as America’s No. 3 overall player in the 2027 class regardless of position.
Ole Miss joins a list of suitors already on Dobson’s offer sheet, including home state South Carolina and SEC foes Alabama, Georgia, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Kentucky, Missouri, Tennessee, Texas and Texas A&M, as well as Florida State, Clemson, Duke, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Louisville, Maryland, Michigan, NC State, North Carolina, Ohio State, Virginia, Notre Dame, Liberty, UConn, East Carolina and Boston College.

Dobson was selected to play in the Under Armour All-American game.
Dobson was state qualifier as a freshman in both the 200 and 400-meter dashes and placed 4th in the 400 at AAAA meet. His top markers include 10.85 in the 100, 22.78 in the 200 and 48.86 in the 400.
