Linebacker Jiyez Fleming has announced his decommitment from the Ole Miss Rebels. The 6-0, 220-pounder from Oxford (Ala.) High School committed to the Rebels in 2025 after taking an unofficial visit to Oxford for the Arkansas game.
Fleming is rated as the nation’s No. 93 linebacker by the industry average.
WHAT IT LIKELY MEANS
It most likely means the separation was mutual between the Rebels and Fleming. He holds other offers from Virginia Tech, Arkansas State, South Alabama, Tulane, Southern Miss, Kennesaw State and Liberty. Seeing that no other SEC program took a chance, Fleming’s offer may have been one that jumped the gun back in the fall.
