The No. 28 Ole Miss men’s tennis team has earned a bid to the NCAA Team Championships, receiving the No. 2 seed in the Tucson Regional, as announced during the NCAA Selection Show on Monday afternoon.
“We are excited to be headed to Tucson, Arizona, for the NCAA Tournament,” head coach Jake Jacoby said. “The guys have put in a lot of hard work this year, and they are more than ready to compete this weekend. Clemson will be a great opponent in the first round, and it’s a great opportunity for us. We are hungry to keep going this postseason, and Hotty Toddy.”
The Rebels will be set to square off against the region’s No. 3 seed, Clemson (16-12, 8-5 ACC), on May 1 at 12 p.m. in Tucson, Arizona. With an opening round victory, Ole Miss would advance to play the winner of regional host Arizona (21-4, 8-0 Big 12) and Northern Arizona (18-5, 7-0 Big Sky) on May 2 for a shot at advancing to Super Regionals.
Ole Miss (19-9, 6-8 SEC) put together an impressive 2025-26 campaign to help punch the team’s ticket into this year’s bracket, including winning six matches against teams ranked in the ITA’s Top 75 Team Rankings.
It will be Jacoby’s first NCAA Tournament appearance as a head coach and the 30th tournament bid for Ole Miss in the past 32 seasons.
