Ole Miss VB set to host Clemson this season in ACC/SEC Challenge series

For the second consecutive season, the Ole Miss volleyball program will compete in the ‘Showdown at the Net’, an ACC/SEC Challenge series.

The Rebels will host Clemson for the event, which is set for Tuesday, September 8 at the Gillom Athletics Performance Center. The Rebels traveled to Miami last season for the inaugural event.

The Rebels last faced Clemson in 2009, with the all-time series tied at 2-2.

All 16 volleyball programs from the Southeastern Conference are slated to compete against teams from the Atlantic Coast Conference in the 2026 edition of “Showdown at the Net, from September 8-9.

“This two-day challenge featuring SEC and ACC volleyball teams will showcase some of the country’s finest student-athletes,” said SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey. “It creates a platform to expand the sport’s reach and deliver a memorable experience for competitors and fans alike. We thank Shriners Children’s and ESPN for supporting this outstanding competition and providing the opportunity for continued growth and greater visibility for college volleyball.”

The full 2026 schedule will be released at a later date. The SEC schedule is available now.
