Ole Miss men’s basketball received a commitment from Cypress Falls ((Texas) High School standout Daniel Patton on Sunday night. The 6-7 Lone Star State product transferred to Cypress Falls High School in Houston from Nashville, Tenn., before the start of the school year.
Ole Miss was Patton’s first Power 4 offer. The power forward’s sheet also shows offers from Louisiana Tech, Northern Arizona and Stephen F. Austin.
Patton is rated as America’s No. 38 power forward in the 2026 class by the industry average.
Patton is the Rebels’ third commitment in the 2026 class from the high school ranks, joining Jarone Saulsberry and Yohance Connor.
