I’ll have what you are smoking. Look at the headline. Southern Miss? beard is a good X and O caller, but he is not adapting well to the portal era. See last season for a small sample size.

As I posted earlier, there is definitely concern—-justified or not—-that Beard is lagging in recruiting SEC-caliber players needed to fill out our roster. Time will tell whether this concern was warranted.

It’s hit big or miss in the portal era. Beard is a top 5 coach and I trust him 100%.
