      *** Former Ole Miss standout Trae Elston is here today with a big group of prospects from the Oxford, Ala., area. I just spoke with him. They have arrived and are now trying to find parking. Trae asked, “What is it? Pro day?” I told him that was now every day in Oxford. We laughed.

        *** We firmly believe Ole Miss has secured a commitment from Middle Tennessee State star Macie Pfifer from the transfer portal. Coach Yo’ tweeted “got another one” last nigh. We will wait on Macie to give is the official go-ahead before announcing. As far as we know, Pfifer was the only women’s visitor on campus last night. She is a New Albany, Miss., native, who prepped at Ingomar High School.

          *** 2027 linebacker Jiyez Fleming is among the group of prospects visiting Ole Miss today. Fleming has been committed to the Rebels since Sept. 14.

              *** 2027 tight end Braxton Salser will visit today. He already holds SEC offers from Arkansas and Auburn. No Ole Miss offer yet. Out of Jacksonville, Ala., he is one to watch today, we believe.

                  As we have reported, Ole Miss 2027 QB commit Keegan Croucher will be at practice this morning and hand around through the weekend. This is a HUGE visit as Indiana, Kentucky and others are trying to make a move.

                    In addition to Croucher, Baylor School 2027 running back David St. Gabriel Georges is here today. He is teammates with croucher and former high school teammate of Shekai Mills-Knight. He, too, is a primary and top target for the Rebels.

                          Macie Pfifer visited Mississippi State on Friday, something the Ole Miss women’s program did not want to happen. Ole Miss still feels comfortable with Pfifer’s decision, which should come soon. Remember, she is a New Albany, Miss., native who entered the portal from Middle Tennessee State.
