Men’s golf sits in 6th at Rudolph event

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – The No. 14/13 Ole Miss men’s golf is in sixth place through two rounds at the Mason Rudolph Championship. The Rebels posted (283, -1) on moving day and are 5-over-par for the tournament.

Tom Fischer delivered another under-par round Saturday shooting 1-under 70. The Birmingham, Alabama native is 5-under through 36 holes, two strokes off the lead.

Cameron Tankersley bounced back with a round of 2-under 69. Tankersley was 2-over at the turn but rattled off four birdies over his final nine holes to finish in red numbers. He sits 1-over-par, tied for 21st heading into the final round.

Collins Trolio had a solid day posting even par. Cohen Trolio shot 2-over 73 and Daniel Tolf finished at 4-over-par. Jacob Blanton also shot 2-over 73 in the individual slot.

Ole Miss will continue final round action Sunday.
