Spring football practice for the Ole Miss Rebels has finally arrived. At least the media viewing portion of it.
The Rebels underwent their first practice on Friday.
Though all practices remain closed to the general public, the media will be allowed its first viewing today of the team that posted a remarkable 13-2 record last season, finished No. 3 in the major national polls and advanced all the way to the College Football Playoffs semifinal game in the Fiesta Bowl. The Rebels did all of this under a newly-promoted head coach in Pete Golding after Lane Kiffin decided to bolt for LSU, leaving his playoff-bound team behind.
The media will get a glimpse of the Rebels today with a limited practice viewing. Golding and select players will be available afterwards for interviews. Those players have not yet been announced. Coordinators are available on Friday, along with select players.
Meet The Rebels Day is set for Saturday, April 25 beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Manning Center Admission will be free for the event, which will feature player autographs and a Q&A program with Golding and other Ole Miss coaches.
There has been no announcement on the Rebels’ spring game plans.
